Happy Birthday – Sarah, Feb 22, 2013<\/p><\/div>\n

\u00a0I just realized that Sarah Amelia is almost 6 months old (technically speaking she is 22 \u00a0 weeks old), and it really seems like yesterday that she was born. \u00a0Her babyhood is going by \u00a0so quickly. \u00a0Little Sarah was just dropped into the whirlwind that is life in our little household, and she just goes along perfectly. \u00a0I know it is bragging, but she is truly a little sweetheart – let me emphasize sweetheart.<\/p>\n

Unless we are at a baseball game or some other place that is extremely noisy, she just happily goes with the flow. \u00a0It is amazing how my two girls look so much alike, yet have such distinct personalities! \u00a0Rachel was a screamer (unless she was held by me), but Sarah is more passive. \u00a0Rachel never slept through the night, yet Sarah started sleeping long stretches around 4 weeks! \u00a0The list could go on…<\/p>\n

Sarah now does a little more than just look cute and sleep… \u00a0The other day, Rachel was rolling a ball to Sarah. \u00a0Sarah was holding onto the ball and wouldn’t let go, despite Rachel trying to tease it from her hands. \u00a0Then all of a sudden, Sarah Amelia let out a squeal\/grunt and curled up her nose in a look of consternation! \u00a0It was so funny – the girls had their first “spat”! \u00a0I guess Sarah might be tougher than I figured.<\/p>\n

Anyway, we started giving the baby rice cereal on Saturday. \u00a0Bryan held the baby and Rachel<\/p>\n

Sarah Amelia first solids<\/a>\u00a0fed the cereal to Sarah. \u00a0It was so sweet! \u00a0We had saved Rachel’s highchair, but unfortunately one of the legs was broken. \u00a0I guess we will have to break down and get a new one \ud83d\ude42<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Today we went to Red Lobster after church, and it was so funny to watch Sarah’s face while we ate. \u00a0You could see the look of – “hey wait, where’s my food”. \u00a0I am not sure how much longer she might be satisfied with baby cereal!<\/p>\n
