All my friends know that I love Halloween! \u00a0Really, what’s not to like? Candy, dressing up, scary movies the week before Halloween, and \u00a0having fun walking around the neighborhood with friends (did I say candy???) – it’s all there!<\/p>\n

I tried to find Rachel’s first costume with no luck \ud83d\ude41 \u00a0It was an adorable little princess costume that I bought for her “first<\/p>\n

Halloween”. \u00a0Of course I purchased a few days before the big day, but it was cute. \u00a0I didn’t take her trick-or-treating because (1) we were returning from a meeting in Boston on Halloween (2) she was 9 months old and babies can’t eat snickers bars.<\/p>\n

Anyway, Halloween was extra fun this year, because I got to dress up two little dolls instead of one! \u00a0 Since I couldn’t find the little princess dress, I went shopping for Sarah – this time ONE DAY BEFORE HALLOWEEN! \u00a0Luckily, the<\/p>\n

party shops around us do Halloween up big time, and they carried lots of babycostumes. \u00a0I know it sounds silly… \u00a0I had resolved not to stress out if I couldn’t find anything, but was willing to try. \u00a0\u00a0 I managed to find a cute little lamb costume. \u00a0It was perfect for little Sarah Amelia!<\/p>\n

Rachel’s costume was really straight forward. \u00a0I simply told her that she must choose from something that was already in<\/p>\n

our house. \u00a0I agreed to buy accessories as needed but no big expense on costumes. \u00a0This may sound harsh, but she has tons of dress up stuff, and a lot those things were pricy gifts from the grandparents. \u00a0She picked the lovely Cinderella dress that her Nanna bought her at Disneyworld. \u00a0I agreed to let her wear makeup, so all was well.<\/p>\n

Trick-or-treating was fun – of course! \u00a0Sarah Amelia was very chill in her stroller. \u00a0We found a bunch of neighborhood girls to cruise the neighborhood and had lots of fun! \u00a0Bryan stayed at the house and handed out candy. \u00a0I think that the girls and I had more fun than he did!<\/p>\n

There are a few really cool houses that play scary music and the adults dress up. \u00a0One house a block away plays scary movie music – Halloween sound track in heavy rotation and the dad dresses up and has a chain saw!!!! \u00a0He doesn’t scare the little kids, which is really nice. \u00a0Rachel has always been very brave trick-or-treating there! \u00a0(of course, because she is cool like that!). \u00a0This year, her and her little friends, “wanted to be scared”, so the dad put on a show!! \u00a0We probably spent the last 15 min at that house “getting scared”…<\/p>\n
